A2. xmds can solve a very wide range of problems in physics, mathematics, finance, economics, chemistry, biology, weather modelling and more. Basically wherever one can make a model of a system that involves solving a differential equation (or equations) then xmds can do it. xmds is especially useful at solving stochastic (both partial and ordinary) differential equations.
